Dr. Mustafa was born in Omdurman, Sudan and grew up in Euless, Texas. She noticed healthcare disparities while in Sudan and in the USA which motivated her to make a difference. Her unique background and perspective led her to pursuing a career in the dental field, in the hopes of improving patients' quality of life. She got started by shadowing local doctors in various specialties during high school. Dr. Mustafa quickly found that she also appreciated the artistic nature of the profession. During college, Dr. Mustafa began volunteering at local community dental clinics where she saw how transformative dental care can be, solidifying her love of dentistry. She counts her graduation from Baylor College of Dentistry and opening 1385 Dental Studio as two of the happiest moments in her life. Now, Dr. Mustafa is proud to be able to serve her community by offering compassionate, informative, collaborative dental care to her patients.
